Other Information
- "*~Asterisk~" is the first opening theme for the anime BLEACH. It is also the highest selling opening for that anime. The song was released as the opening for BLEACH before it was released as a single. For the single release, Orange Range re-recorded the whole song so it was different from the anime release. That new version was released later on the BLEACH THE BEST album, ironically.
- The PV for "*~Asterisk~" was shot at night in the winter, thus pocket warmers were used.
- "*~Asterisk~" was originally from Orange Range's indie era, it was called "Star" back then. When Orange Range recorded the song, they morphed "Star" into "*~Asterisk~", reasons being that a star and an asterisk are very similar in shape.
- Referencing "Spiral", Yoh said "It's light, loud rock".
- "* ~Asterisk~ (Romantic Ver.)" was performed by Degawa Tetsuro, of whom Hiroki was a big fan. Tetsuro was so surprised when they asked him to participate that he and his wife made a fake video where she strongly tells him, "There is no way Orange Range is your fan! The hidden camera will tell it so!"
- "Mission in Daisakusen" is actually part of the 1st Contact song "Mission in Poppiple". The song features a story about two criminals. The two were released as a pair later in the B-Side compilation album Ura Shopping.
